Who's idea was this anyway!!
When three friends of 25+ years get together for a trip to Europe, a great time is guaranteed.
We did a lot of emailing and planning. By using the internet, we were able to book flights and hotels. We also purchased Eurail passes....the only way to travel throughout Europe.
We met up in Frankfurt, Germany on 7/11. Our hotel was close to the train station. The room was extremely small, but we could manage for a night. Frankfurt is an impressive city considering it was 80% demolished during WW2. Rebuild has been quick and creative. A lot of new architecture appears to be old while that which is supposed to be new is really creative. The beer was excellent! The subways were confusing.
